Just like I said in my previous article about how to apply for an international scholarship and get awarded, not all scholarships are the same, that is also how their requirements differ, so we will be explaining those requirements for applying for different international scholarship.

The requirements that are needed for an undergraduate scholarship are different from that of Masters, so also is the requirement that will be needed for an international P.h.d Scholarship.

That is why you must understand that eligibility for a scholarship depends entirely on the scholarship; there is no general rule of eligibility when it has to do with international scholarships.

Requirements For Applying Undergraduate International Scholarship

The international undergraduate scholarship requirements differ from schools, and the providers of such a scholarship scheme, but we will be highlighting some general requirements for undergraduate international scholarship programs.

  1. Copies of passport/ID.
  2. Copies of transcripts from your previous institution.
  3. Letter of recommendation.
  4. International passport.
  5. Your home country must be eligible for such a scholarship.
  6. You must have evidence of English Language proficiency e.g IELTS, TOEFL, etc.
  7. At least two academic references.
  8. At least three Referees.
  9. You must have an unweighted GPA of 3.8 or above, to earn high SAT/ACT.
  10. Availability of self at the exact date of the offer of a scholarship to travel.
  11. Other Certificates & Achievements of Extracurricular Activities (If any).
  12. A medical report/ heath evaluation form.
  13. Parents’ financial information, including tax returns.
  14. O.level (WAEC) result and at least five credits in your subjects.

Requirements For Applying Masters International Scholarship

Applying for an international masters scholarship can be difficult and stressful most times, it’s important that you have full knowledge of all the requirements before attempting the online application. When applying you should treat it with a lot of care and responsibility.

As you already know, scholarships are only offered to students with excellent academic performance so you either prepare for a scholarship opportunity in advance or be realistic about your chances of getting one. Below are the requirements for applying for a Master’s international scholarship.

  1. A cover letter that succinctly states the applicant’s academic field, country, or region of specialization.
  2. GMAT or GRE tests are often required to have a minimum score in order to be eligible to apply. (This minimum score varies from program to program)
  3. Curriculum vitae (CV) or resume
  4. A research proposal that includes intellectual objectives and planned methodological and disciplinary work
  5. A copy of your degree program transcript
  6. Three letters of recommendation (uploaded through the online application)
  7. Copies of passport/ID
  8. A medical report/ heath evaluation form
  9. Availability of self at the exact date of the offer of a scholarship to travel
  10. You must have evidence of English Language proficiency e.g IELTS, TOEFL, etc.
  11. International passport
  12. Your home country must be eligible for such scholarship
  13. Evidence of a bachelors degree from a recognized university

Requirements For Applying P.h.D International Scholarship

Applying for an international P.h.D scholarship requires almost the same requirements as other scholarship requirements but it is slightly different because it is the highest level of schooling.

Below are the requirements for you to successfully apply for your international P.h.D scholarship without much stress and hurdle.

  1. A cover letter that briefly states the applicant’s academic field, country, or region of specialization.
  2. GMAT or GRE tests are often required to have a minimum score in order to be eligible to apply. (This minimum score varies from program to program)
  3. Curriculum vitae (CV) or resume.
  4. Research proposal (2500 word maximum); including intellectual objectives and planned methodological and disciplinary work.
  5. A copy of your degree program transcript.
  6. Three letters of recommendation (uploaded through the online application).
  7. Copies of passport/ID.
  8. A medical report/ heath evaluation form.
  9. Availability of self at the exact date of the offer of a scholarship to travel.
  10. You must have evidence of English Language proficiency e.g IELTS, TOEFL, etc.
  11. International passport.
  12. Your home country must be eligible for such a scholarship.
  13. Evidence of a bachelors degree with a second class upper from a recognized university
  14. Evidence of a Master’s degree with honors.
