MasterCard Foundation Scholars Program is one of the largest foundations in the world, it works almost exclusively in Africa. It was created in 2006 by MasterCard International and operates independently under the governance of its own Board of Directors.

How To Apply for MasterCard Foundation Scholars Program

If you are an interested applicant here are several steps you need to follow in applying for the MasterCard foundation scholars program.

  2. Scroll down and select the institution you wish to apply.
  3. Click on visit to log on to the institution website and apply directly from the institution or college of your choice.

Partner institutions have their own deadlines and admission fees. We recommend that you research the application guidelines or contact the institution of your choice for more information.

The Scholars Program is implemented through partner universities and non-governmental organizations. The application process and decision-making are managed individually by each partner. If you are interested in becoming a Scholar, you must apply through the University of your choice.

For schools that require application fees as part of the admissions process, the fees will be reimbursed if the student is selected for the Scholars Program.

This application includes Secondary education, Undergraduate Studies, and master’s Studies these are applicable to African citizens and legal residents living in Africa.
